Jesus chose twelve men to follow him. The men would help him tell people about God. They would tell them how to get to heaven to see God. They would tell the people how to live right. Jesus treated these men as friends. But one of the men, named Judas, would not act like Jesus’s friend.

One day, Judas went to see some men who wanted to do bad things to Jesus. Judas asked the men, “How much will you give me if I help you capture him?” The men gave Judas 30 pieces of silver. Judas helped the men capture Jesus. Later, Judas realized that he had not done the right thing.

Judas should not have done this. He should have been a good friend. How do you show someone that you are a friend? You show them that you are a friend by showing them love. Here are five ways you can show love to your friend based on 1 Corinthians 13:4.

  1. Be patient.

  2. Be kind.

  3. Don’t feel jealous. That means you want something someone else has because they have it.

  4. Don’t boast or brag. That means you only talk about the good things you did. Sometimes, it means you show off what you have.

  5. Don’t be too proud. What does that mean? It is okay to feel good about your work.  But sometimes people act like they don’t need other people’s help. They think they can do everything perfectly. No one is perfect. Everyone needs help with something.

So, be a friend and show love. Are you ready to color? Print off the free coloring sheet below. This coloring sheet is provided free by Super Coloring
